HARARE, Jul 28 (NewsDay Live) -United Kingdom-based gospel sensation, Alexander Zinyongo's 12th album, Hallelujah, will be released this Friday.
The singer,behind the hit song Jesu Panzvimbo Yangu which feature gospel diva Bethany Pasinewako, also recently released a video for the song Garai Neni, off another album titled Hymns.
The latest album, Hallelujah, carries seven tracks.
"The album is out now, and has been loaded on several online platforms," Zinyongo told NewsDay Live.
"The new album carries five uptempo songs and two worship tracks to give my fans a choice, especially during celebration time.
"As a worshipper, I noticed that there is a need to do some celebratory songs."
The tracks l are Handirambe, Hossana, Muka Mapfupa,Tinochengetwa,Somebody Touched My Soul, Reason For Everything and Tinotenda.
The album was recorded in the UK by Macdonald ‘Mcdee’ Chidavaenzi.

Other albums on his discography include Jesu Ndishe, Ndatenda, Mazuva Ekuguma, Gospel Hour, and Open Heavens, among others.
Zinyongo's two albums Gospel Hour and Open Heavens were nominated for Zimbabwe Best Contemporary Gospel (ZIMA 2014).
The husky-voiced Munondo singer is also credited for contributing in the revival of gospel music industry in the UK.
All of his 12 albums are now available on online stores.
