Zimbabwean investors have been urged to capitalise on the vast business opportunities available in Eswatini and set up businesses in Mbabane.
The call came Thursday during the Eswatini Investment Conference held in Harare.
Eswatini Investment Promotion Authority (EIPA) chief executive officer Sibani Mngomezulu also invited Zimbabwean investors to take part in an investment indaba to be held between July 26 and 31 in the mountainous kingdom.
"This brief information session will provide a guide on how to participate in the Eswatini Investment Conference 2026. The conference, which is planned to take place on the 29th to the 31st of July 2026, is a real platform where vision meets opportunity, and ideas will be transformed into reality," Mngimezulu said.
"Today, we are not just here to talk about the investment conference. We are here to ignite partnerships, to look at Eswatini as a strategic investment destination.
"Your presence here speaks to the strength of the relationships that Eswatini continues to build with the international community and our neighbours. More importantly, it reflects a shared commitment to partnership, collaboration, and the desire to share a common future."
He added that Eswatini is a preferred competitive investment destination.
"We have convened this engagement as part of our preparations for the second edition of the Eswatini Investment Conference (EIC 2026)—a key platform through which we aim to position Eswatini as a competitive and preferred investment destination," he said.
"But beyond that, today is really about connection. It is about bringing partners together early, aligning expectations, and creating a shared vision for what we want this conference to achieve.
"As a host institution for the conference, we are cognisant of the value the that it will take partners like you, to play a role in broadening our reach and strengthening our engagement with the international business community.
"For us, this is not just an event, it is an opportunity. An opportunity to showcase the Kingdom’s potential, to highlight priority sectors, and most importantly, to facilitate meaningful engagements that translate into quality investment outcomes."
"Eswatini offers real opportunities across key sectors, and through platforms such as this, and through your continued partnership, we are confident that we can connect those opportunities to the capital that will bring them to life."
Zimbabwe and Eswatini enjoy cordial relations, with local construction companies having participated in the erection of key infrastructure projects in that country.
