ZANU PF Manicaland spokesperson and Buhera North MP Phillip Guyo has spoken out on the provincial executive committee meeting held in Mutare that ended prematurely after chaotic scenes.
In an interview yesterday, Guyo said no resolution was made during the chaotic meeting.
“What I can say is that no resolution was made after the meeting,” he said.
“There was no other meeting that was held after that meeting, but the chairman will definitely give his report to the national leadership and some people who attended the meeting.”
Guyo said he could not comment on the chaos that took place, adding that he was still gathering information.
The meeting ended prematurely after degenerating into chaos as rival groups wrangled and confronted each other.
The meeting, which was closed to the media, was called off after members failed to agree on the way forward regarding the state of the party report that had been presented by provincial political commissar Albert Nyakuedzwa.

Buhera West legislator Tafadzwa Mugwadi was on the floor when Mukodza ordered him to confine his contribution to what had been presented, prompting the MP to stand his ground.
A group supporting Mugwadi interjected, challenging Mukodza to let the former express himself.
Mukodza refused to budge, claiming he was chairing the meeting.
The scene then degenerated into commotion as rival groups began shouting at each other, with emotions getting charged, after which Mukodza called off the meeting.
Insiders in the ruling party yesterday said Mukodza, after the meeting, wrote a correspondence to the national leadership while the provincial secretary for administration Sam Matema also reportedly sent his own version of what transpired during the meeting.
