HARARE, Dec. 23 (NewsDay Live) - At least fifteen passengers were seriously injured in a road traffic accident involving two commuter omnibuses on Seke Road on Tuesday afternoon.
According to eye witness reports, a white kombi from Chitungwiza, which was carrying a full load of passengers, was cut off by a yellow kombi that was attempting to turn right. The manoeuvre resulted in a collision between the two vehicles.

The impact left 15 passengers from the white kombi seriously injured. Emergency services and passers-by assisted in ferrying the injured to a nearby hospital, where they are currently receiving medical attention.

No fatalities have been reported.
It is understood that the yellow kombi only had its driver at the time of the accident, who reportedly escaped without serious injuries.
