Highlanders could this week unveil South African Thabo Senong as head coach and Warriors legend Benjani Mwaruwari as technical director.
A very reliable source told this publication that Senong, a former coach of the Lesotho senior national team, will be assisted by former Bosso player Mkhokheli Dube.
The South African gaffer will also bring in his own analyst, who will double as another assistant coach, while club legend Zenzo Moyo will be the manager.
“It’s all settled now,” the source said.
“Thabo Senong will be in charge at the club next year, and he will be assisted by Mkhokheli Dube.
“Senong will bring with him another assistant, who is an analyst.
“Zenzo Moyo will be manager. Mwaruwari comes in as technical director.”
Senong is a former South Africa Under-20 coach and has previously been in charge of the Lesotho senior men’s team.

Club benefactor, businessman Wicknell Chivayo, had proposed Mwaruwari be the head coach, but Bosso shot down the suggestion, indicating they were already in the process of engaging a substantive coach.
However, sources said the matter was discussed behind the scenes, and Mwaruwari will be thrust into the technical director’s post to avert a potential fallout with Chivayo.
Chivayo came to Bosso’s rescue earlier by settling former coaches Baltemar Brito and Antonio’s debts to avoid Fifa sanctions.
Another source said assistant coaches Agent Sawu and Try Ncube have been handed their letters of separation from the club.
However, the duo had contracts expiring in December 2026, representing another looming financial obligation for Bosso, who also owe former head coach Kelvin Kaindu US$10 000.
Kaindu was fired in June following a string of poor results and was replaced by Dutchman Pieter de Jongh, who was hired until December 31.
Highlanders have issued a statement confirming that they will not be extending de Jongh’s contract.
The status of goalkeepers’ coach Tembo “Chokry” Chuma is yet to be established.
