NewsDay readers have endorsed Benjani Mwaruwari as their preferred choice for Zifa presidency ahead of aspiring candidate Phillip Chiyangwa.

The Zifa hotseat was left vacant after the ouster of former president Cuthbert Dube in October. Elections for the post will be held on 5 December.

Chiyangwa has so far garnered the support of ten provincial chairpersons.

Mwaruwari who arrived in the country during the weekend, announced his intentions to bid for the Zifa post. He has so far won the hearts of readers as they are backing his presidency bid.
