Four teams go into the hat tomorrow evening in the BancABC Sup8r Cup semi-finals draw to be held at the Zimbabwe International Trade Fair (ZITF) premises.

Edward Moyo, a supervisor at BancABC’s communications department, yesterday confirmed that the draw involved Bulawayo football giants Highlanders, Dynamos, Shabanie Mine and reigning PSL champions Motor Action.

“The draw for the semi-finals of the BancABC Sup8r Cup will be held at the ZITF Hall 5 at 6pm on Wednesday as MineEntra starts,” Moyo said, adding that officials from BancABC and the Premier Soccer League would attend the draw.

The quarter-finals of the Sup8r showcase were spread to various venues with Highlanders dismissing Caps United 1-0 at Baghdad Stadium in Kwekwe on June 26 to cruise to the semi-final stage via a goal from captain Gilbert Banda.

The loss saw the Green Machine parting ways with coach Moses “Bambo” Chunga, who has since made a return to Gunners.

Shabanie Mine edged Gunners with the same scoreline at Ascot Stadium on June 25 with the solitary goal coming from Lennon Chisunga.
