The Zimbabwe Golf Association (ZGA) named a four- member team to participate in the bi-annual African Amateur Golf Team Championships in Johannesburg, South Africa, next month.

Zimbabwe will be represented by the quartet of Clive Nguru Jr Emmanuel Hungwe, Nicholas Masunga and Kayman Mandhu.

The championships which are being organised by the South African Golf Association will take place at the Lake Club Benoni in Johannesburg, from October 16 -21 and 15 countries are expected to take part.

In the previous tournament held in Egypt, the Zimbabwean team of Scott Vincent, Nyasha Muyambo, Rogers Jack and Trynos Muradzikwa finished in fourth, while South Africa emerged victorious.

Joe Sithole, the ZGA secretary, said: “The team of four will consist of Clive Nguru, Emmanuel Hungwe, Nick Golbert Masunga and Kayman Mandhu.”
