Brief History Monomotapa United Football Club, affectionately known as Monoz, is now 10 years old. In all the 10 years of existence, Monoz has benefited from generous sponsorship by Chroma Paints. 2002 — Current Monoz born using Bindura United franchise and playing in Division One 2003 — Acquired own franchise and started using the name Monoz and still playing in Division One 2004 — Clinched Northern Region Division One Championship 2005 — Started playing in the Premier League 2008 — Won the Premier League Championship 2009 – Represented Zimbabwe in the Champions League. Monoz had a magical run, reaching the mini-league phase of the tournament to join Dynamos FC as the only other Zimbabwean team to have achieved that feat.
Monoz Home The club trains at Alexandra Sports Club in Milton Park where we also have our club offices. For matches, our first-choice home ground is Rufaro Stadium and the alternative is Gwanzura Stadium. Our home colours are red and white.
