Former Highlanders and Warriors coach Madinda Ndlovu, who won his first championship with Botswana be-Mobile outfit Mochudi Centre Chiefs last month, will be hoping to post a good result when he leads his charges against Ecco City in the first leg, semi-final of the Mascom Top Eight at Francistown Stadium on Saturday.
Mochudi will fancy winning the Mascom Top Eight as the prize money for winning the competition is P1 million which is equivalent to the money the Gaborone side were awarded for winning the league title.
Ndlovu, a former Warriors coach, dismissed under controversial circumstances, joined Mochudi following the departure of Rahman Gumbo who came back to Zimbabwe to join Zvishavane- based FC Platinum last year.
Platinum-bound Joel Mogorosi has been one of the key players for Mochudi alongside Arnold Chaka, who has been called to the Warriors squad for the 2014 World Cup and 2013 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
The other Zimbabwean player at Mochudi is midfield dynamo Elvis Meleka.
The battle for supremacy between the Chiefs and Ecco City is set to continue as they clash again in the Coca-Cola Cup quarter-finals next week.

According to media reports in Botswana, Chiefs should brace for a tough encounter against Ecco City. In the league, Chiefs beat Ecco City 3-1 in Gaborone before the two sides settled for a 3-3 draw in Francistown.
