HARARE, May 2 (NewsDay Live) — Zimbabwe internationals Junior Zindoga and Emmanuel Jalai go head-to-head on Saturday as TS Galaxy face Durban City in the Nedbank Cup final in South Africa.

Galaxy, home to forward Zindoga, are leaning on their giant-killing pedigree from their 2019 triumph, while Durban City — with right-back Jalai — are chasing silverware in his debut season.

The final is set for the Peter Mokaba Stadium, with Durban City holding the edge after two 2-0 league wins over Galaxy this season.

Despite finishing outside the top eight, Galaxy are banking on their knockout resilience, bolstered by veteran Bernard Parker, whose experience could prove decisive in a high-pressure contest.

Durban City, meanwhile, arrive with momentum and belief, having shown tactical control in previous meetings. But cup finals remain unpredictable, with both sides under pressure to deliver.

For Jalai, victory would mark a dream first season; for Galaxy, it’s a shot at reviving their cup-winning legacy.
