THE Pacific Breeze Southern Region Soccer League will be launched this afternoon at White City Stadium, with the major highlight a double header as the league gets underway.
Pacific Cigarette Company, under their Breeze Brand, will be sponsoring the Southern Region Soccer League to the tune of US$37 000.
The double header pits Bulawayo City against Hwange in the first game at the B Arena at 12 midday and Nkayi United versus Talen Vision in the Main Arena at 3pm.
Zifa Southern Region board member (administration) Tiziray Luphahla yesterday confirmed the launch.
“Tomorrow (today), we are launching the Pacific Breeze Southern Region Soccer League that will take place at White City Stadium,” he said.
“It will happen during inaugural matches of the league. Bulawayo City will take on Hwange in the B Arena at 12pm and Nkayi United will take on Talen Vision in the Main Arena at 3pm.

“We want to create a carnival atmosphere as we welcome the new launch league and sponsorship.”
The sponsors, the region’s leadership and other football dignitaries will attend the launch.
