UNICORNS will be hoping to bounce back to winning ways in the Southern Region Basketball League after succumbing to their first defeat at the hands of Highlanders.

They take on Southern Mavericks at Bulawayo Club at the Disabled Courts tomorrow.

Unicorns, the defending champions in the men’s category, had gone for seven games unbeaten until the 50-44 loss to log leaders Highlanders last Saturday.

They are second on the log table with 13 points from seven games, while Mavericks are third.

Mavericks are in their debut season, but have had a good run having suffered only one defeat in the league so far.

Kings lost 54-40 to Mavericks last Friday and would want to collect maximum points against Giants.
