ADAM Ndlovu’s death has overshadowed the planned friendly match between South African legends against an African All Stars legends set for Durban on Saturday.

The match will be the curtain raiser to Bafana Bafana’s international friendly against Malawi at the Moses Mabhida Stadium.

The former Warriors crew of Kaitano Tembo, the Mugeyi twins Wilfred and William, Edelbert Dinha, Alex Maseko and Benjani Mwaruwari have all been invited to be part of the African Stars cast on the day.

However, it is highly unlikely that most of these stars will attend the match as it has coincided with the burial of Adam in Bulawayo.

Other former African stars that have been confirmed for the match include former Nigeria goalkeeper William Okpara, Dennis Lota, Patrick Mabedi, John Maduka, Doctor Khumalo and Jerry Skhosana.

The all-African outfit will be coached by the all-conquering former Dynamos coach Shepherd Murape.

Adam died on Sunday morning in a car crash that critically injured younger brother Peter and also took away the life of 24-year-old Nomqhele Tshili.
