SOUTH AFRICA — Amazulu have terminated the contract of former Highlanders striker Mkhokheli Dube after less than a season.

Dube is the second player to be shown the door at Usuthu in recent times after Liberian midfielder Dulee Johnson was booted out for alleged ill-discipline.

General manager Peter O’Connor confirms the news to KickOff.com: “We have given him the letter to terminate his contract with terms and conditions. We are waiting for him to read it and come back to us.”

Meanwhile, O’Connor also confirms that his club’s case against former coach Roger Palmgren is now set to go for arbitration at a date still to be announced.

The Swede took the club to the DRC recently after claiming that the team still owed him money after terminating his contract last year. Palmgren told KickOff.com yesterday that he was disappointed with the treatment he received from the Durban-based side.
