ZIMBABWEAN ultra-marathon runner Stephen Muzhingi received a major boost ahead of next month’s Two Oceans Marathon after getting sponsorship from FedGroup, a leading independent financial services provider in South Africa.

Muzhingi, who will defend his Two Oceans Marathon title on March 20, confirmed the deal on his blog yesterday.
The battle hardened runner, who specialises in ultra-marathons, thanked his sponsors and declared that his aim was to defend the Two Oceans Marathon and have another go at the gruelling Comrades Marathon.
“I am humbled and grateful. I am speechless,” Muzhingi said on the latest sponsorship deal. “Thank you to my major sponsors Toyota and FedGroup! Thank you for your faith and belief in me! This year I plan to defend my Two Oceans title, gain back my Comrades Title and win the world IAU World 100km sanctioned by the IAAF which will be held at the end of the year.
