WE live in a hostile world where a safe haven or sanctuary is needed.
Philosophy, science and religion have tried to offer solutions.
These have achieved somewhat of a semblance of remedy but not eternal peace and security.
Christianity has proved to be the only hiding place that has stood the test of time and eternity.
The Gospel of Christ which is the divine vehicle to bring heaven to earth to deal with the now and hereafter has given hope and comfort.
The myriad of challenges and inexplicable pain and suffering here on earth can only be demystified in the revelation of Jesus by the Gospel of Christ.

Theologically we understand that it started as the Gospel of God in the Old Testament as a promise which eventually became the Gospel of Christ after the seating on the right hand of majesty by the resurrected Christ and the glorification of Jesus.
God in incarnation or Jesus as a Man proclaimed the Kingdom of Heaven.
The Kingdom of God can now reign in the affairs of humankind.
The finality of this is given testimony to by Revelation 11:15, “And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever.”
We trace the dwelling place in God.
Moses experienced this as a child. Her mother had a revelation of the In Christ Realities.
Exodus 2:3, New Living Translation records, “But when she could no longer hide him, she got a basket made of papyrus reeds and waterproofed it with tar and pitch. She put the baby in the basket and laid it among the reeds along the bank of the Nile River.”
Later on in life, God revealed Himself to Moses showing him the dwelling place in God.
We read Exodus 33:21, “And the LORD said, Behold, there is a place by me, and thou shalt stand upon a rock:” He could not see God face to face because God is a revelation and that revelation is Jesus Christ. We know that that rock was Jesus Christ.
1 Corinthians 10:4 reveals, “And did all drink the same spiritual drink: for they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them: and that Rock was Christ.”
The Israelites were in Christ throughout their wanderings.
All along in the wilderness, the children of Israel lived in Christ.
Moses recounted in Psalm 90:1, “Lord, thou hast been our dwelling place in all generations.”
They won wars and survived the weather conditions because they lived in God in Christ.
Deuteronomy 29:5, New International Version states, “Yet the LORD says, “During the forty years that I led you through the wilderness, your clothes did not wear out, nor did the sandals on your feet.”
There’s home for believers called In Christ.
Are you banking on the economy, politicians or change of government?
You may hope endlessly; look unto heaven.
Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego survived the burning fiery furnace.
There’s a fourth Man dear reader called Jesus.
King Nebuchadnezzar recognised in Daniel 3:25, “He answered and said, Lo, I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire, and they have no hurt; and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God.”
Receive the Fourth Man today and now as Lord and Saviour.
What are the fiery fires you’re dealing with. Seek hiding in Christ. Receive and accept the Gospel of Christ. He’s our hiding place in this burning world.
The psalmist knew it, Psalm 32:7, “Thou art my hiding place; thou shalt preserve me from trouble; thou shalt compass me about with songs of deliverance. Selah.”
Daniel survived the mouth of the lions because of his revelation of Christ.
Daniel 6:22 reads, “My God hath sent his angel, and hath shut the lions’ mouths, that they have not hurt me: forasmuch as before him innocency was found in me; and also before thee, O king, have I done no hurt.”
As born again believers, we’re innocent before God in Christ.
What can I say about Apostle Paul? He’s the man known for the In Christ Realities.
2 Timothy 4:17 recounts, “Notwithstanding the Lord stood with me, and strengthened me; that by me the preaching might be fully known, and that all the Gentiles might hear: and I was delivered out of the mouth of the lion.”
He is the man who tells us that we live in God in Christ.
We read Acts 17:28, “For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring.”
While we’re in this world, we’re not of this world.
Don’t consider your environment and circumstances but your identity in Christ.
While praying, Jesus said in John 17:16, “They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.”
The climax of this is John 18:36, “Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from hence.” To be continued….
Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy, To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen. Grace and peace be multiplied to you through knowledge.
