NATIONAL Foods launched the Ma-Hat-Ma Rice Meaty Christmas promotion at Sam Levy’s Village in Harare on Saturday, opening up for the festive season marketing blitz by interacting with consumers in Borrowdale.

Various customers walked away with different prizes. Consumers are also guaranteed more prizes, thanks to the scratch-card promotion set to run nationwide until December 24. NatFoods group marketing executive Workmore Chimweta said it was exciting to be interacting with customers, whom they regarded as key stakeholders in their business.

“With over $250 000 worth of instant prizes to be won, it means one in every two people will be winners.

“Customers need relief in these times and winning a cow is not only a big thrill, it’s also a first for Zimbabwe, where cows play an integral role in our culture,” Chimweta said.
