The launch will be followed by a massive one-day road trip to Bulawayo, where thousands of fans are anticipated to join the entourage en-route to the City of Kings, where he is scheduled to perform at Queens Sports Club.

Speaking at a Press briefing in Harare yesterday, the Eriza hitmaker, who has been consistent in releasing albums over the years, said he still has a lot of music to offer.

“Personally, as an artiste, people should not forget about me before I release another album because there is a lot in my head so I should release while I still can,” he said, adding that the new project will raise the bar.

“I think this album is the take-off. There is something huge brewing after it.”

Jah Prayzah, who has gained prominence countrywide, said the forthcoming offering has a new flair to accommodate an international audience.

“Some songs on this album are a bit different from my usual sound as I tried to leave my comfort zone a little bit in a bid to make the album suit international standards,” he said, adding he collaborated with Tanzania’s Diamond Platinum in one of his tracks.

The musician said the theme of the album — which is the seventh in a hugely successful career — would be revealed on the day of the launch.

A contemporary musician, Jah Prayzah fronts the Third Generation band and is popularly known as Musoja (soldier) after his signature band uniform of military fatigues. The Zimbabwe Defence Forces (ZDF) has since endorsed him as their ceremonial ambassador.
