Church founder Goodwill Shana told NewsDay Weekender yesterday that the medical outreach programme would be held at Magamba Hall in Warren Park 1 in collaboration with several health service providers among them Belvedere Medical Centre, Dentists’ Association of Zimbabwe and Harare City Council.

Shana said 21 medical specialists, including dentists, paediatricians, psychiatrist among other specialist would take part in the outreach.

“There are people who cannot afford medical fees, so we have came up with this programme to give a helping hand. Our ministry believes in being active in the country than to just preach on the pulpit,” he said.

“It must not be a matter of only talking about blessings on the pulpit, but to do something that is tangible in society. We as Word of Life International Ministries are putting this medical outreach programme in the spirit of practical gospel.”

Shana urged people with medical reports to bring them to enable doctors to effectively deal with their health problems.

He said medical specialists would also hold a seminar at the venue.

“The doctors will give basic and primary medical attention and drugs, with those in need of further attention being referred to specialists. We intend to be doing this programme in other societies,” Shana said.
