INTERNATIONAL students from the Midlands State University (MSU) will pay their fees in United States dollars beginning this year, a statement from the tertiary institution read.

“Please be advised that from the beginning of 2018, international students are required to pay all their fees in US dollars in the account (FBC Bank) detailed below,” MSU said in a statement.

The university which has an enrolment of more than 20 000 students, has foreign students from countries such as South Sudan, Namibia and Swaziland among others.

International undergraduate students have to fork out an average of $1 400 per semester, while those in the post-graduate studies pay about $1 600.

MSU was established in 1999 and in recent years implemented a multi-campus approach project, which has seen thousands of its students spread at various campuses across the country.
