A MAN from Gwizi, Plumtree, Cryton Thebe (51), collapsed and died on Tuesday when he was leaving the homestead of his married lover Nokuthula Nyathi in Mabuledi near Mphoengs border.

Matabeleland South provincial police spokesperson Inspector Philisani Ndebele confirmed the death which he said police were taking it as sudden death.
“I can confirm the incident and we are investigating a case of sudden death. The whereabouts of the deceased is not of our concern,” he said.
A source said Thebe’s death is linked to his love affair with Nyathi whose husband is in South Africa.
