The Zimbabwe National Chamber of Commerce (ZNCC) on Wednesday elected Oswald Binha as its new president at the ongoing annual congress in Nyanga.

Binha takes over from Trust Chikohora who becomes the immediate past president of the chamber

In an interview with NewsDay Binha said he would be concentrating on capacity building and engaging various stakeholders, especially the government, in coming up with national economic policies.

“We want to make sure the vision for Zimbabwe will be buttressed by a vibrant private sector,” said Binha

He said during his term he would work on regional integration so as to improve the seriously needed foreign direct investment in the country.

The ZNCC president office is held on a two-year basis.
