Matsikidze & Mucheche (M&M) legal practitioners lifted Zimbabwe’s flag high when they recently scooped a golden award for quality and excellence in competitions held at the Grand Hotel Kempinski in Geneva, Switzerland, last week.

The global event was attended by more than 160 nations who competed in five different disciplines.

M&M provide training in labour-related issues such as arbitration, conciliation, mediation, retrenchment, job evaluation, performance management and disciplinary hearings.

The law firm has conducted training across the country. They were nominated to represent the country in the contest.

M&M directors Caleb Mucheche and Rodgers Matsikidze represented Zimbabwe and competed with 60 nations that included some of the richest countries in the world such as the United States, France, Russia, United Arab Emirates and India, just to name a few.

Matsikidze said: “The event was an eye-opener for us, but we were glad to come first in our category where the judges were focusing on the recipient company’s quality and excellence. We managed to beat the world’s best.”
