Civil servants’ representative body, the Apex Council, which met in Harare yesterday, has given government until Tuesday next week to review their salaries, failing which they will stage a one-day industrial action.
The government employees, some of whom earn as little as $250 a month, are demanding minimum salaries of not less than $500, in tandem with the poverty datum line.
