During the raid, police allegedly seized confidential party documents and ordered youths to abort their protest march to press for the release of youth leader Solomon Madzore.
In the application, the MDC-T cited Home Affairs co- ministers Kembo Mohadi and Theresa Makone, police Commissioner-General Augustine Chihuri and the officer-in-charge of Bulawayo Central Police Station as respondents.
The MDC-T argued the police raid and seizure of party documents was illegal.
It further argued the continued withholding of party documents posed a security threat as the information contained might “fall into wrong hands and be doctored”.
Madzore has been languishing at Chikurubi Maximum Prison together with seven other party members after they were arrested in October last year.
They were implicated in the murder of police officer Inspector Petros Mutedza in Harare’s Glen View suburb.
