The memorial lecture in honour of the legacy of Father Zimbabwe, the late Vice-President Joshua Mqabuko Nkomo, which was supposed to be held this evening in Bulawayo, has been postponed.

The lecture was expected to feature such high-profile personalities like former Industry and Commerce minister Nkosana Moyo.

It was meant to coincide with the 13th anniversary of Nkomo’s death and would have been the first of its kind.

According to Felix Moyo, the director of information and public relations at National University of Science and Technology — the venue of the planned lecture — no reason for the postponement was given.
