HARARE Glamis Arena Tonight all roads will lead to the Glammis Stadium for the much-anticipated Oliver Mtukudzi 60th birthday bash. The gig will witness the music superstar sharing the stage with a galaxy of local and international performers. South African singer, producer and songwriter Ringo Madlingozi together with jazz songstress Judith Sephuma and Steve Dyer are some of the artists set to headline the bash. Some of Zimbabwe’s finest artists set to perform are Alick Macheso, Sulumani Chimbetu, Jah Prayzah, Munya Mataruse, Tryson Chimbetu, Allan Chimbetu, Diana Samkange, Willom Tight and many others.

  Extra Mile Alick Macheso will on Sunday descend on Extra Mile for a family show. Tomorrow he will perform at As You like It in Karoi. For all his weekend shows, the sungura ace will be supported by Progress Chipfumo.

  Jongwe Corner Reggae crooner Jah Prayzah will on Sunday perform at Jongwe Corner after staging a performance in the resort town of Mhondoro-Ngezi at Zimplats, at a joint popularly known as the Gazebo.

  Musakanene Open Air Bar Musakanene Bar will tonight present the “Open Air Friday” with some old skool jams courtesy of the Downtown DJs. Tomorrow the party will start in the afternoon and host the vibrant ragga session. On Sunday, the mighty dance contest take over with the New Class Dance ensemble. Set to rock the party again will be vivacious dance ensemble, Vero, featuring Fungai “Funride” together with Hona Mwana Wako dance troupe.

  Circus Night Club The sleeping giant Circus Night Club tomorrow awaken with yet another explosive Annual Foam Party. Revellers should brace themselves for some non-stop action courtesy of DJ Dee Nosh, DJ Syn (Beefy) and DJ Swaggbakkers. The party will start at 6pm and rock till 6am the following morning.

This venue will be rocking and revellers will be  expected to come and chill listening to some of the inspiring spoken word, neo-soul, hip–hop music at the intimate Chingono stage with hosts Mizchif and Aura. The line-up of artistes will include Sekuru Tozi, Aero and Pauline, Jibilika dance group, T Shock Tswarelo and Flowchyld. The Kingpin Main Stage will witness a series of uplifting concerts with brand new international reggae collaborations as reggae meets hip-hop and mbira meets indie rap. Hope Masike vs The Monkey Nuts, House of Stone featuring Mannex and Natty featuring  Chiwonise Maraire.

  Moonlight Night Club (Chitungwiza) After making an appearance tonight at Oliver Mtukudzi’s birthday bash, dendera kingpin Sulumani Chimbetu will tomorrow invade Chitungwiza where he is expected to stage a performance at Moonlight Night Club at Makoni shopping centre.

  Dotito Night Club (Mount Darwin) Sungura King Nicholas “Madzibaba” Zakaria will tomorrow make a date with sungura fans at Dotito Night Club in Mt Darwin. On Sunday he will travel to Rushinga where he will wrap up his weekend shows at Rushinga Beerhall. Tonight, he will perfom at Chivavaya Night Club in Guruve.

  Pakare Paye Arts Centre (Norton) On Sunday a line-up of upcoming jazz artistes will serenade the venue. The perfomers include Munya Mataruse, Donald Kanyuchi, Agape Nyabinde and Tsvete.

  Jakimbles (Murehwa) Rising jazz star Daniel Ngwira will perform at Juru Growth point, popularly known as “KwaBhora” on Sunday. The musician will be presenting his seventh album titled Hondo Pasalon to his Murehwa fans.
