RESIDENTS of Bulawayo’s Bellevue low-density suburb have received clearance from the local authority to pool resources together and set up a community clinic. Report by Pamela Mhlanga Own correspondent

According to the latest council minutes, Ward 6 councillor Jennifer Bent made the application to the local authority on behalf of her ward.

“The clinic would offer a one-stop comprehensive primary health care which would go a long way in complementing both the local authority and government efforts in the provision of health services,” the report reads in part.

“The town lands and planning committee has resolved to recommend that a piece of land measuring 2 908,8m² being portion of stand 40M in Bellevue (proposed Stand 666 Bellevue) be sold to Ward 6 community at a selling price of $9 800.”
