BISHOP Chad Gandiya, leader of the Anglican Church of the Province of Central Africa, yesterday led members of his church in a tree-planting initiative to signify forgiveness and a new beginning after winning a bruising leadership wrangle against his rival Archbishop Nolbert Kunonga.

Addressing congregants in Harare, Bishop Gandiya said the church’s target was to plant 5 000 trees at members’ homesteads, church properties and mission schools in the next few months as part of its Green Revolution Movement.
