Despite receiving more than enough rainfall this last season, villagers in Kezi, Matabeleland South province are still battling with food shortages as pests destroyed most of the maize crop.
Government recently moved in to distribute food aid, but the villagers alleged that the distribution was not adequate as it only targeted the elderly when the whole community was affected.
