WIDELY travelled Afro-fusion group Mokoomba continues their dominance on foreign lands with their tour of the United Kingdom that saw them staging sold-out shows.

The group, which left the country in February touring various countries including Australia, New Zealand, Netherlands, Norway, Denmark, Switzerland and Germany, has enjoyed rave reviews from various international media houses.

In an interview with NewsDay, the group’s manager Marcus Gora said most of their shows were sold out.

“Mokoomba’s tour of the UK called Making-Tracks which ran from March 30 to April 13 was a resounding success with most shows being sold out,” he said.

“For this tour we developed a new semi-acoustic repertoire, a relatively new concept to us, however, well received by fans.”
