IT has come to our attention that a fraudulent image purporting to be that of NewsDay with the screaming headline EBOLA OUTBREAK is circulating on social media especially on WhatsApp.

Although the title piece looks almost like ours, readers would have noticed that the genuine title piece goes almost across the whole front page.
Further, NewsDay does not have a bar code on the front page. Our stakeholders are therefore advised to treat the fraud with the contempt it deserves.
