A HARARE-BASED police officer reportedly lost $1 800 during a bush sexual escapade with his lover last week in Mutare.

Noleen Chikwekweta of Chiundura village in Chief Marange area appeared before Mutare magistrate Sekai Chiundura last Friday facing a charge of stealing the money from Dolen Twarira (38) of Support Unit based at Chikurubi Camp.
She denied the charge and was remanded in custody to December 29.
Circumstances into the matter are that on December 10 at around 9pm the two went for a sexual escapade in the bush, but afterwards, the police officer later discovered that his wallet with $1 800 was missing.
The court heard that he tried to locate Chikwekweta on that same night, but failed.

On December 11, Twarira went to Chikwekweta’s rural home where he allegedly recovered $428,50, prompting him to make a police report.
