The influx of vendors into Harare’s Central Business district is being received with mixed emotions by Harare residents. They clog pavements and transform them into prime real estate.
Vendors utilize every available space on the street pavements to sell fish, fruits, vegetables and cell phone accessories.
The vendors and analysts alike attribute their plight to the deteriorating political situation in the country. Over the years Zimbabwe has experienced an economic meltdown which has seriously impacted on the lives of ordinary people.
