VETERAN poet Linda Gabriel and rising comedian Admire Kuzhangira have been forced to cancel their dual performance dubbed Valentine in Winter which was scheduled for June 5 after indications that Gabriel will go for an unforeseen medical operation.

Gabriel will undergo a haemorrhoidectomy surgery today. A haemorrhoidectomy refers to surgery to remove internal or external haemorrhoids that are extensive or severe. Commonly known as piles, haemorrhoids are swollen and inflamed veins in the lower rectum.
In a statement, the renowned poet apologised to her fans and indicated that the show would probably be rescheduled in the near future.
“We sincerely apologise to our fans on cancelling the show. We are very sorry and thank them for the support always. I need to heal first and then see if we can reschedule,” she said.
The unique show had been set for Gava Restaurant in Belgravia, Harare, where the two artistes were set to rekindle the love of couples over dinner.
