Three people died on the spot yesterday after a Limousine they were travelling in burst a rear tyre and veered off the road before hitting a tree at the 138km peg along the Bulawayo-Victoria Falls Highway.

Four other people in the speeding limousine were seriously injured and taken to St Luke’s Hospital in Lupane.

According to witnesses, the car, which was being driven by a police officer, was heading to Victoria Falls Airport to collect the owner of the car who had flown in from the United Kingdom.
