THE Finance ministry has called on citizens, businesses, civil society organisations and other stakeholders to submit proposals and recommendations for consideration in the 2026 mid-term budget and economic review,l as well as the 2027 budget strategy paper.

The ministry said stakeholder participation was critical in shaping policies that support sustainable economic growth, macroeconomic stability, and national development.

It added that contributions from various sectors of the economy would help inform government decisions and ensure that fiscal policies respond to the needs and aspirations of Zimbabweans.

"Stakeholder contributions are essential in shaping policies that promote sustainable economic growth, macroeconomic stability, and national development," the ministry said.

The ministry urged stakeholders to submit their recommendations before the June 24 deadline.

"Submit your contributions to contributions@zimtreasury.co.zw. Deadline for submissions: 24 June 2026. Your views matter. Participate in shaping Zimbabwe's economic future," the ministry said.
