Corona virus pandemic has left students from both primary and tertiary education sector with no hope to attend face to face tutorials since the government order to close all schools, colleges and universities to ensure any outbreak of coronavirus in Zimbabwe is controlled and minimised.

Students in the first world countries are used eLearning and Google classroom due to adequate resources unlike in the 3rd world countries where few students have access to internet and adequate resources to study online.
Countries like China started a new semester online. With all schools closed due to the coronavirus outbreak, the country embarked on what might amount to be the largest simultaneous online learning exercise in human history.
COVID-19 pandemic has highly affected Zimbabwean education sector and disrupted learning for lots of students since the closure of schools on 24 March 2020.
The crucial question remains, what is the fate of students who did not even get the chance to access Google classroom or eLearning? After schools closed tertiary institutions only endorsed final year students to write end of semester exams. However some students did not get the chance to write exams because of registration issues.

The pandemic came at a time when most tertiary students had not spent at least a month at school and most hah paid fees which did not cover the whole semester considering after fees hike at the beginning of the year.
Almost all tertiary institutions espoused eLearning whereby students were urged to learn through the Google classroom. Although the concept was embraced, for some students it did not yield any positive results since some students could not afford data.
