Brother in House Zimbabwe has issued an urgent security alert to its growing fan base following an increase in fake social media accounts impersonating the popular reality television brand.

In a statement, the production team urged viewers and supporters to verify the authenticity of the platforms they follow to avoid being misled by fraudulent accounts spreading false information.

The organisers said fans should only rely on the show's official social media pages for verified updates, voting information and exclusive content. The official platforms are YouTube: Brother in House Zimbabwe, Facebook: Brother in House Zimbabwe, TikTok: @brotherinhousezw2, Instagram: @brotherinhousezw, and X: @BrotherinHouse.

The production team also encouraged members of the public to avoid interacting with or sharing content from suspicious accounts. Instead, they urged fans to report any fake profiles they encounter to help protect the integrity of the Brother in House Zimbabwe brand and its online community.

"Do not engage with or share information from fake accounts. If you come across one, please report it immediately," the statement said.

Brother in House Zimbabwe thanked its supporters for remaining vigilant and for helping safeguard the BIH Family from misinformation and online scams as anticipation continues to build around the show.
