Fresh off a stellar, sold-out performance at Harare’s Reps Theatre, stand-up comedian Tinaye Wayne is ready to take his comedic genius across Zimbabwe.

His first-ever solo nationwide tour, aptly titled Nothing to Hide, kicked off in style on June 6. The massive Harare show marked a major milestone for Wayne, cementing his transition from intimate pub sets to commanding grand theater stages.

Explaining the inspiration behind the tour’s title, Tinaye promised audiences an authentic experience.

"The name says it all. I had nothing to hide at Reps Theatre, and I won't hide anything when I take the tour around Zimbabwe. I’m coming to the people raw and unfiltered, telling stories of my everyday life experiences. I realised that the best way to do comedy is to tell my truth."

The comedian was quick to credit the fans who packed out the iconic Harare venue, expressing deep gratitude for the milestone achievement.

"It was an incredible feeling to fill up the venue," he said. "I truly appreciate the support from both the fans and my team. I just hope we can take that same vibe and energy to every other city we visit."

The tour is structured into two ambitious phases, designed to connect Wayne with fans locally before he heads overseas. While a comprehensive tour guide with specific dates is expected to be released soon, the strategy is already set- comptising of a nationwide sweep hitting major cities and towns across Zimbabwe before crossing borders to South Africa (with stops in Johannesburg and Cape Town) before heading to the United Kingdom.
