UNIVERSITY student, Moreblessing Ndlovu, has been crowned Miss Nust 2026.

Speaking after the event, the newly crowned queen described the win as a milestone that would inspire her and her peers to aim higher.

"This is a dream come true," Ndlovu said.

She added that the prizes, which included a car and cash, were life-changing and served as motivation for young people to work harder and pursue their goals with confidence.

The event drew the presence of several prominent figures, including first lady Auxillia Mnangagwa, Defence minister Oppah Muchinguri-Kashiri, and representatives from the Zanu PF Youth League Bulawayo.

Support also came from community figures such as Zanu-PF youth commissar Taurai Kandishaya, Varakashi4ED Bulawayo Province, Cadre Shangri-la, and NatVal Cmp.

Ndlovu said the recognition went beyond the pageant stage, showing that Zimbabwe's leadership and private sector are committed to creating platforms where young women can showcase their abilities and contribute meaningfully to national development.

The Miss Nust pageant continues to grow as a platform for grooming confident, articulate young women who represent the university and the country on larger stages, including Miss Universe Zimbabwe.
