Social media personality Nobesuthu Vanessa has recently leveled serious allegations against Zimbabwean hip-hop artist Saintfloew, accusing him of ongoing drug and substance abuse, as well as engaging in concerning sexual behavior.

In an interview on the DJ Sparks Podcast, Vanessa alleged that she witnessed these behaviours firsthand while spending time with the artist and his crew during various “bootcamps”.

Specifically, she claimed that the artist frequently consumes alcohol and drugs—citing broncleer (a prescription cough syrup commonly abused in Zimbabwe) as a substance he uses — and that this consumption leads to drastic behavioural changes.

“He takes drugs, smokes a lot, and consumes alcohol. He starts misbehaving every time he takes ‘tea’, which is what they call broncleer,” she said.

Furthermore, she made explicit allegations regarding the artist's sexual conduct and personal relationships.

“One day, we went upstairs where he had slept, as we were curious to know whom he had been with, since it is an everyday occurrence. We then saw a young lady (Ka Nhanha). That young girl is considered a ‘young sister’ to Saintfloew and is referred to as ‘Musikana we Tea’ on social media. Even Saintfloew's wife knows her as his sister, but unfortunately, they are actually involved sexually,” she alleged.

In August 2023, Saintfloew made headlines when he publicly admitted to struggling with drug addiction.

Recognising the negative impact the habit was having on his career and personal life, he announced that he was embarking on a journey toward recovery and subsequently checked into a rehabilitation facility in South Africa.

Following his treatment, the artist became a vocal advocate against drug and substance abuse among the youth in Zimbabwe.

He has participated in various interviews and media appearances, including podcasts and news segments, where he discussed his journey to sobriety, the challenges of fame, and the realities of addiction, aiming to use his platform to discourage young people from following a similar path.

The current allegations brought forward by Vanessa stand in stark contrast to the narrative of recovery and advocacy that the artist has presented since 2023.

To date, the artist has not issued a formal response addressing these specific accusations, and efforts to obtain a comment from him have been unsuccessful, as he has remained unreachable.
