Musician First Farai has withdrawn charges against fellow artist Gift Amuli following a reconciliation facilitated by prominent music promoter Chipaz.

The dispute between the two musicians erupted after Amuli allegedly made remarks in response to a video that had gone viral on social media. The comments sparked tension, prompting First Farai to file a lawsuit against his counterpart.

However, in a move aimed at restoring harmony within the music fraternity, Chipaz stepped in to mediate between the warring parties.

His intervention culminated in a meeting that paved the way for dialogue and ultimately reconciliation.

Confirming the development, First Farai said he had decided to drop the charges in the spirit of unity and peace, acknowledging the promoter’s efforts in bringing them together.

“I am going to the courts to formally withdraw the charges,” First Farai said.

Amuli, who had been granted bail following the legal proceedings, is now expected to put the matter behind him as both artists seek to move forward amicably.
