Bible Temple Primary School is set to host a fundraising dinner next Saturday as the institution rallies parents, church members and the wider community to support ongoing development projects at the school.

The event, which will be held at the school premises, is expected to bring together stakeholders for an evening of fellowship, entertainment and philanthropy.

It is running under the theme: Building futures one brick at a time. Organisers said the dinner was aimed at mobilising resources to strengthen learning facilities and enhance the educational experience for pupils.

Gladys Chikwayi, a school representative, highlighted the importance of collective responsibility in building a strong foundation for young learners.

The school, which operates under the Pentecostal Holiness Church and is registered with the Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education, continues to expand its services, including Early Childhood Development classes.

“This fundraising dinner seeks to support vulnerable children in the vicinity, construct a modern double-storey classroom block, and upgrade classroom furniture to create a safe, inspiring learning environment,”Chikwayi said.

“This is more than just a dinner. It is an opportunity for the community to invest in the future of our children.

“Every contribution will go a long way in improving infrastructure, learning materials and the overall school environment.”

The fundraising dinner promises a vibrant programme featuring live music, an auction and a variety of dishes for guests.

The organisers have also announced Prophetess Tino Primrose Miga as the special guest for the evening, a move expected to draw significant interest from church members and supporters.

Over the years, Bible Temple Primary has positioned itself as a faith-based institution committed to nurturing academic excellence alongside Christian values.

School authorities said the funds raised will help address priority needs, including classroom resources and other developmental projects designed to keep pace with growing enrollment.

Community members have welcomed the initiative, describing it as a positive step towards self-sustenance and shared responsibility in education.

Parents say such events not only raise funds but also strengthen the bond between the school and families.

As preparations gather momentum, organisers have encouraged individuals, companies and well-wishers to attend and support the cause.

“When we come together, we can achieve more,” Chikwayi said. “Our children deserve the best, and together we can make it happen.”

The dinner is expected to start in the evening, with tickets and further details available through the school’s administration.
