Former Dynamos striker Nyasha “Tito” Chintuli has resurfaced in the Eswatini Premier League where he scored a hat-trick on his debut for Nsingizini Hotspurs on Sunday.

He was among a group of players offloaded by coach Genesis Mangombe following an underwhelming performance with the Harare giants last season.

Tito arrived at DeMbare from Manica Diamonds last year amid high expectations after he scored 10 goals in the previous season, but could not replicate his form in Harare.

He scored one goal for the Chibuku Cup champions last term.

Details of his contract with the big spending Nsingizini Hotspurs could not be obtained, although it is believed he joined on a two-year deal. The team also roped in Zimbabwean and former Shabanie Mine coach Alexio Sigion as their new head coach.

Tito was unveiled by Nsingizini just hours before the start of their home match against Royal Leopards on Sunday, along with five other new signings.

The forward was thrust straight into the first XI, where he enjoyed a dream start to life in Mbabane, scoring three second half goals in his new team's comfortable 3-1 win.

The former Ngezi Platinum man opened his scoring at the start of the second half before getting his brace in the 64th minute and completed his second half hat-trick in the 84th minute.

The club has a strong Zimbabwe flair after they also unveiled former Golden Eagles midfielder Nomore Tsabora at the weekend to add on to Tanaka Chinyahara, who is already in their books.

Tsabora started Sunday’s match on the bench.

Nsingizini’s fitness coach Promise Mandidzidze is also a Zimbabwean who played for Motor Action, Highway and Tenax in the local league.
