Cataract is the leading cause of avoidable blindness in the world and in Zimbabwe. 

Although debatable expressing the feelings of anger or frustration is considered an advantage rather than harbouring the feelings of unworthiness. 

Therefore, rehabilitation empowers people with disabilities to live more independently, participating actively in society and enhancing their quality of life.
