ZVISHAVANE, Jul 23 (Southern Eye Live) – A 53-year-old Zvishavane man has been sentenced to an effective 20 years in prison for raping his 16-year-old daughter.
The court heard that some time in February this year, the offender arrived home drunk and ordered his teenage daughter to go to bed with him while threatening to stab her with a knife.
The court heard that he used the victim’s T-shirt to gag her mouth and raped her.

The matter was later reported to the police, leading to his arrest.
