Two Plumtree men are in hot soup after they allegedly stole five goats from a grazing area and sold one to a local teacher.
The duo appeared before Plumtree magistrate Joshua Nembaware.
The State, led by Sheila Nyathi, alleged that on July 29 last year, Gracious Nkomo let her herd of goats out to feed at a nearby grazing area.
The suspects then went to the grazing area and stole five goats from Nkomo’s herd.
The duo sold one goat to a primary school teacher in the Mayobo area.
The teacher suspected that the goat might have been stolen and filed a police report.
