Integrated Properties (IP) chief executive officer (CEO) Mike Eric Juru was last week named CEO of the Year 2025 — Real Estate Sector by the CEO Africa Roundtable, in an event that recognised corporate leaders across key sectors of the economy.
IP confirmed the development in a statement, saying the award reflected the company’s work in major property developments and management assignments.
Integrated Properties is responsible for letting space at the new Afreximbank offices in Harare and is the project lead for the Chishawasha Housing Project along the ED Mnangagwa Road development corridor.
Juru’s recognition comes as the real estate sector continues to attract attention for its role in infrastructure expansion and new housing developments.
At the same ceremony, Kutsaga Research CEO Frank Magama received two accolades — 2025 CEO of the Year and CEO of the Year — Agribusiness.
Kutsaga said the awards highlighted ongoing efforts to improve research outputs, strengthen industry partnerships and support sustainable agriculture.
In the financial services sector, ZB Financial Holdings Limited group CEO Shepard Fungura was named Banking Sector CEO of the Year.
In tourism and hospitality, Joy Mataruka, CEO of Mana Resort, walked away with the award for best Tourism and Hospitality CEO of the Year.

The ICT CEO of the Year award went to Never Ncube, chief executive officer at Dandemutande, while Salome Mutsinze, CEO of Mother Touch Group of Schools, was named the best Education Sector CEO of the Year.
Gift Machengete, director-general of the Postal and Telecommunications Regulatory Authority of Zimbabwe, received the award for the best Regulatory Agency CEO, according to a statement released by the organisers.
The CEO Africa Roundtable, which organises the awards annually, is a high-level platform bringing together senior executives from both the public and private sectors to promote dialogue, leadership development and regional competitiveness.
